Friday Five 16/09/16
Each week we pick five things we're feeling on the interwebz. We hope you might find them interesting too.
This week: A history of house from those who made it happen, Dave Haslam on the retro/future debate, Will & Ink mix from Frits Wentink, Objekt on DJing and partying in Paris.
US11 - Real Deep Is Out Now!
US07 - Deep House Presets is out now!
We're proud to present our debut collection of Massive presets in the form of Deep House Presets: 100 all-new sounds spanning classic deep to contemporary bass-focussed sounds.
We had a lot of requests for rich, analogue-inspired sounds for those without the space or budget for racks of hardware. With Massive being a popular request, we jumped right on it to create a killer bank of sounds based on classic deep house sounds and some of our favourite analogue synth patches. Expect old school organs, warm stabs, fat sub bass and FM tones in abundance!

US06 - Micro House is out now!
Release number five is a deep, trippy and twisted excursion inspired by the Romanian wave of minimal techno, Chilean demi-God Ricardo Villalobos and German imprints such as Perlon and Kompakt.
Loaded with over 700MB of intricate drum workouts, glitchy textures, reworked melodics, narcotic grooves, left-field sampling, dubby textures, there's nothing here that would sound out of place in an 11am Fabric freak-a-thon with Ricardo at the controls.
If you like your house and techno deep, druggy and sonically sculpted then this is a pack you need in your life. Expertly programmed and produced in an all-analogue studio this one oozes authenticity and inspiration at every turn.
